About Me

About Me

Personal Statement

I am committed to cultivating and fostering compassion and empathy in all of my relationships as well as in the larger world in which we live. Without compassion and empathy, we negate the other and are plagued by a sense of disconnection and alienation. As humans, I believe we need compassion to be invested in relieving the suffering of all beings, regardless of cultural differences or where on the planet we reside. We also need empathy to appreciate the uniqueness of every individual and to understand the causes of each person's suffering. As a therapist, I believe my responsibility is to help you with your everyday struggles and challenges and to help you cultivate a sense of meaning and connection in life.
